1st: Be intolerant of intolerance in all its forms. When you hear or see racism, intolerance, injustice or bigotry, speak up. Speak out against stereotypes, including the stereotypes of people living in poverty. Promote a new understanding of poverty, not as a character flaw but as a treatable condition.

2nd: If this work speaks to you, mention TTS in conversation, share the idea with others, and refer them to the book or website to learn more.

3rd: Examine your network. Are there people at work, other professionals, friends or family  from health, human services, government, education, faith-based or funding organizations who would be interested in TTS? If so, make the introduction to TTS, and if they are interested in learning more, contact us. It never hurts to offer to make an introduction. They’re free to do and learn more!

4th: Identify and promote speaking opportunities for Dr. Wilson at conferences and professional organizations and other venues. These types of events promote widespread understanding of a new paradigm for understanding and responding to poverty.

5th: Keep reading related articles and research that support our understanding of poverty and share them with our TTS online community.

6th: Connect us to other individuals and organizations that can support the movement, whenever possible. The power of one--that’s you!--is profound.
