The Community Impact Town Hall is a community-wide gathering that features a national keynote speaker to heighten local awareness on alleviating poverty. The speaker share national successes and best practices on ways we move ahead in this fight against poverty. In true town hall fashion, the event will close with a participatory audience dialogue around solutions to fight Mid-South poverty.
The United Way of the Mid-South implemeneted Driving The Dream, their new system of care that collaborates with health and human services agencies to help drive the dreams of the Mid-South community. In honor of their 95th anniversary, who better to speak on the topic of poverty and economic mobility, than the woman who developed the model for their system, Marcella Wilson.
